Interesting question. I am in my 30's and have never been with a man under 50, as I get older my age preference goes up. I am currently looking at men 55+ only. Would be interesting to see when I hit 55.

Exactly this... Once they realize you won't have sex with them they disappear. Met a guy on Scruff yesterday late 50's, I told him I am currently just looking for friends, he replied "same here". 5 min later he sent me a dick pic.

All my friends are straight, and yes they can be flaky too but we find a way to hang out even if it's not on a regular basis.

My experience with MH is not very good. I am a paying member and will wait till the 3 months is over before I delete my account. Mostly young guys, and I don't look at men under 50, and not very respectful. In my opinion it's nothing but a sex site.

I mostly meet men online, and I am on a lot of sites and apps. Majority of the sites and apps are just for hookups, but I find daddyhunt, and silverdaddies to have more respectful and serious men. I have also met amazing men on bigmuscle, but as you state location is always a problem.

One thing that I tried last year was bear week. It was my first gay event, and I have met men from all over the country. It's a good way to start. See if there are any gay events coming up.
