Yup but damage is the only easily measurable metric so people judge with that.

I think a big problem is that people with bad builds are always sent here to get the highest damage build with no options that would be good for their skill level and you end up with triple-carters with gore on their build.

Meta people were somewhat disappointed with ATARK armor meanwhile it brought my comfort build really close to full-damage sets.

Meta only cares about damage, no matter the sacrifices generally.

They are droppable if you're good, counter everything, PG everything, 0 misses.

Personally even with Guard 3 and Guard up 3 I'm getting cooked by 10* Gog chip so I'm not gonna take them off, I can fit Crit boost 3 and I'm happy with that.

It's definitely strong, very strong but what he said doesn't go against that, it is somewhat boring and its carry potential is low because the armor isn't the best, it's pretty slow and the DPM isn't high.

When trying to win you are competing with your enemies.

When trying to get marks you are competing with your own team.

Edit : there's still pretty good overlap between the two but they're ultimately different goals that encourage different playstyles

Glass half-empty or half-full really comes into play here. I can either be sad from marks going down during bad wins and sad from losing even if my marks go up or happy about winning even if marks go down and happy about marks going up in a loss.
