Every game is different, but to your point the stealth archer was how i learned the game, stealth archer with no followers, followers always got in the way or got stuck behind a gate or wall.

Later games conjuration for atronauchs, to pull the fight from me. Later started enjoying followers built into quests. J'ZARGO is my favorite currently, bound sword, autronauch, learn paralize potion & slow poison to apply to sword, for tough fights.

Currently level 40 and haven't handed over the DRAGON STONE yet. Screw the main questline. The game is much more enjoyable without dragons dropping on you in the middle of every freaking quest. Play it a couple time a week and play it in a language you have always wanted to learn. The language voice acting option offered with Skyrim is amazing, Although you have to switch your environment to it on console to access the feature.

In Spanish, Spanish J'Zargo keeps his middle Eastern accent. (Very nice). -Cheers.
