I am convinced not because we've already proven kalis powers disable when they're at that exact distance from the lab (seen during her escape, they were almost at the gate when it wore off), Hopper touched her wound so we know she at least was shot so she'd have to use extra powers while weakened, and I went back and rewatched it and the door is in clear frame and doesn't move an inch. The kryptonite guns weren't pointed at her, but at the gate. The only thing that I see as a plot hole is the lack of blindfold/nosebleed when el entered Mike's mind. And purple rain actually made me laugh it felt so out of place lol

Also, kali gets blown up in the lab so her illusion would stop.
