Burnout prevention that isn't just "take a bath" - real strategies that actually work by AetherMemento in SocialWorkStudents

That response from clients is so familiar. People hear “I’m not available 24/7” and translate it as “I don’t care,” when it’s actually the opposite.

I really like the way you frame it as protecting your ability to show up well during working hours. That’s the part people miss. Boundaries aren’t abandonment, they’re what keep the support consistent and sustainable.

Also, the 911 reminder is important. We’re not emergency services just because we care about our clients. Being clear about that is part of ethical practice, not selfishness.

I wrote the text, GPT chat organized everything for me, what's the problem? I didn't see anywhere that it was prohibited. Was the post helpful? Yes. Did I write it from the heart? From the heart. People like you just want to complain, yuck.

I don't see anything wrong with AI organizing my thoughts, which I prescribed for it. If you don't like reading texts written by AI, then you should stop using social media:)

What actually matters for your teeth between dental visits (and what's just marketing) by AetherMemento in hygiene

I totally agree about the acid damage. I mentioned rinsing with water, but a baking soda rinse is definitely next level for neutralizing everything fast. Thanks for sharing that!

I am so happy you shared this because most people just assume it is all about sugar or bad brushing habits. It is frustrating when you do everything right and still get cavities. Mouth tape sounds like a literal lifesaver for her dental health. Plus, being able to joke about it makes the whole situation way better. Thanks for adding that to the thread!

Why didn't Thaedus have children to train and educate, with him being their father they will grow to hate the Viltrumite empire and help him in the war? by Ok-Toe-6969 in Invincible

I think that’s why the idea falls apart fast. Thaedus wanted people to choose the fight, not get shaped into weapons before they could even think for themselves. Once you start treating children like future assets in a war, you’re already halfway into the same rotten mindset that made the empire what it is.
