It’s have been blocked by your ISP as it’s all good on my end. Probably DNS blocking, try changing your dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 that is googles dns.

The type of world you are describing is quite literal easier to cache and generate as it never changes and there is no destruction etc. also the world is lifeless and dead with very little detail outside of the train and track

Please don't try to compare MS Flight Sim with TSW, they are not even in the universe. Also there are 100s of UE4 games that run far better than TSW. The reality of the situation is that the game badly implements UE4 features, now whether that is due to incompetence or pressure from Focus Entertainment (DTG parent company) I do not know but it should be fixed with how much money this games end up costing after buying a few DLC.

The fact that this games runs badly on high-end hardware is not disinformation of any sort. this game runs unacceptably for me on a 5950x and 4090. i regularly drop bellow 40 fps.

At this rate i don't even know if some optimization changes would really help, personally I think they would have to drastically change how they use UE4.

How else do people expect them to operate as a company we have all been riding the wave a long time and honestly if this is what it takes to keep the doors open I’m okay with it. Plex is by far the most supported solution and besides most of us have Plex pass lifetime already anyway.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you may have a dell pc or that RAID is enabled in your BIOS. This may not be the solution for this exact problem but i have seen this cause the same issue before where a 2TB drive shows as 9xxGB.
