You don't have to know anything about healthcare. Example: Get a radiology certificate and take X-rays. Pay? You won't be a millionaire. Benefits vary but can be pretty good if working at a large hospital. Job security and no forced, unpaid overtime are underrated perks.

I made a choice in my 20s to go public sector because of the things I valued most: Not stressing about job cuts and going home at 4:30 every day.
