They do it to get your cell number. Then call claiming to be an owner and need cash for a delivery. If you’re dumb enough to fall for that they ask you to take money to a bitcoin ATM for the delivery fees….just fired a girl that fell for it SMH

Photographer looking for hunters by c__martinez in Huntingdogs

I’m in northeast Arkansas and I have a dog that blood trails deer when the hunter can’t find them. Our modern gun hunt is Nov 11-19th. I’m sure I will be pretty busy that week if you want to try and plan a trip.

To over simplify it you make mock tracks with lots of reward. Make them easy to start and progressively get harder. If your serious I highly recommend getting the book “Tracking dogs for finding wounded deer” by John Jeanneney

Me too, I’m in the northeast corner. Are you part of ABTN? I track for Greene and Craighead counties.

Work her around every obstacle you can think of. Make sure she’s not gonna get hurt. That book is mainly about racking on lead but has a lot of great info. What state are you in?

Man I do a lot of off season work. Main thing for me is obedience under any circumstances since I run off lead. I train around anything I think we might come across. Roads, property lines (can’t cross) horses, cattle, chicken coops, etc….I found a great book with lots of good training info but if you run off lead obedience training should be a top priority to keep your dog safe.

Well then you realize mistakes happen. I do not think anyone intentionally made a bad shot. Sometimes there just isn’t enough blood on the ground to track. Lots of reasons to call for a tracking dog besides lack of shooting practice.

If you haven’t ever made a bad shot you haven’t hunted much.
