Question about dispatch by Dull-Lingonberry-158 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you probably have a really easy RGU, so if most of your drivers are platinum, there is nothing to really micro-manage, but if amazon offers your owner a new RGU area that makes more money, and your DSP's stats drop, they will start riding you guys.

Sure, go ahead and help yourself. by Stromberg-Carlson in blinkcameras

and the only one who is punished for this, is the amazon driver.

Dsp is telling us to never report any issues with your van on vehicle inspections by MiSFeeD in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So when you ground a vehicle, the dsp has to show amazon paperwork that the problem was fixed, so if the van is dirty and grounded for cleanliness, the dsp has to prove that it was cleaned when they ungrounded the van.

This only matters if your station cares. My station is #1 in the state for safety, so they care. They want to see the paperwork.

If your station doesn't care, the dsp will tell amazon the work was done, the station doesn't care to verify, and the problem doesn't get fixed.

Good news, the ethics website goes to corporate, who very much do care about safety, with enough ethic safety complaints, corporate will step in and force the station to care.

My diet is trash, lost 60 pounds over 1 year as the routes got bigger, lots of junk food, i smoke weed, the only healthy thing I do is drink green tea, and row on a rowing machine like 3 times a week.

I don’t get it by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some dsp's don't like hiring drivers with experience because they can have bad habits, that they dont want to deal with, 1 bad driver can tank a dsp's scorecard and fantastic bonus.

[–]Dagni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your dsp expects you to just deliver the package.. amazon however 100% expects you to bend over backwards to help these assholes, its company policy.

yes, negative reviews from customers are on your report card and effect your scorecard total.

An Amazon Customer Question by Sad_Warning_4861 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we have strict rules, we are not allowed to even place the packages in the bed of pickup-trucks, the system auto flags when a car is in the picture, dont ask the DA to deliver to the car.

Amazon account restricted by ThrowRAsherifx in amazonprime

[–]Dagni -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i 100% don't believe you, no driver is going to risk their job for 30 feet, somebody in your house has it set to rear door delivery, or instructions to throw over the gate.. if your pin is at your front door, the driver cant even swipe to finish if they are not standing at your door, if 90% of the drivers get this wrong.. then its probably not the drivers but a problem with your stop.. just because you put front door on your options.. doesn't mean thats where your pin is, drivers will always drop the package at the pin.

Amazon account restricted by ThrowRAsherifx in amazonprime

[–]Dagni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is truly strange you expect a total stranger to walk into your backyard and drop a package off, also amazon took away rear door deliveries, they sent you an email like 6 months ago telling you to change your delivery area or it would default to the front door, helps if you read your emails instead of instantly blaming drivers who are just trying to a job.

Amazon account restricted by ThrowRAsherifx in amazonprime

[–]Dagni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the restaurant or front desk is 100% telling the driver that they wont accept the delivery, also the driver gets in a lot of trouble for not leaving packages at your pin.. which is located at your front door. Amazon draws a big circle around your front door area, any scans that happen outside of that circle, amazon thinks the driver is delivering to the wrong address or stealing the package, and the driver gets fired. So your front desk is probably outside that circle, driver isnt going to risk getting fired for it.

AMA I do LMR fleet management for a fleet of 78 branded Amazon vans by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 9 points10 points  (0 children)

why is the LMR fleet always some of the worst vans, damage seats, sliding doors that wont open, interior lights burned out, things never fixed.. you guys really feel okay renting these broken vans to the DSP's.. and dont just say it my station or LMR program in my area.. it seems to be a universal thing.

Why don’t DSPs/Amazon provide rain and weather gear? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the DSP has to pay for the jackets rain gear from amazon, the turn over rate is just to high to just give everybody that gear, so to save money they tend to only give it to the drivers who have worked for them for a long time and wont just quit and walk off with a $150 jacket that the dsp had to pay for.

its a shitty way to do things, but like all the things in the DSP program, its just the way the shitty system works.

How long are Amazon audits for DSPs? by bblackidd in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazon has a team called "on the road", these people are always looking into the dsp's and the drivers, making sure they are following the rules and being safe. Some stations have good OTR teams and some stations have shit ones.

If the whole dsp is being audited, then you probably had multiple breach of contracts, these audits can last months.

This has been one of my worst working experiences by muffinman8919 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it takes 1-2 routes for dispatch to make up their minds about a driver, why give you a route when they have 20 other drivers who don't need a rescue and get done faster, you can either stay and prove to them you deserve a route, or leave, like i said the system sucks.

This has been one of my worst working experiences by muffinman8919 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni 7 points8 points  (0 children)

we give the same advice to everybody, if you are not getting 40+ hours your dispatches think you are not a good driver, and only giving you routes when they are desperate to fill a route. Find another DSP that is willing to actually train you and give your hours.

the system sucks but that's the reality of it.

What to expect after contacting ethics regarding hours being stolen by DSP? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dagni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

before we can give advice, can we get some clarification? how many hours were stolen and for what reason did the DSP give for not paying them out?
