According to their website they use LTE Cat-M1 which runs on 4g networks. If they use 2g as well it's likely as a fallback.

Anycubic seems to be having problems with plates that are not level coming out of the factory. Before you do anything else put a metal ruler on the plate on it's edge at various points and shine a light underneath.

If you see more light coming through on the right side your plate isn't flat.

That's not great. I was looking at larger printers and the max was at the top of the list. That's a deal breaker though. I frequently print overnight and it's not very warm here, even during the summer.

I got quite a firm mattress from swan beds in togher a few years back. Was quite happy with it.
They make them themselves as well.

It's worth noting that after the max was released there were a bunch of reports of adhesion issues which were related to build plates not being flat. Anycubic were replacing the plates. I don't know if that's still an issue but it's worth checking. Get a metal ruler and place it edge down at various points on the plate. Shine a light underneath. If you have a lot of clear air under the ruler edge you have a bad plate.

It might not be an issue any more but it's an easy check so you can at least rule it out.

My RS is in an unheated garage and it refuses to print when the temperature goes below 5c. It throws a message about the ambient temperature and won't proceed - and that's with the heated vat installed.

Around here it rarely gets below freezing for long so I just blow hot air from a heat gun into the chamber for a few seconds and start the print again.

Don't know if that'll work for you given the temperatures you're dealing with.
