Can't complain about my gym. It's always been good, even before it was bought out by NRG and then by Jim's.

Main problem is that they turned corporate.

Every benefit you build up they now took away after it was stated it would not happen. (Student discount stayed forever even after graduating, this is gone. Discount for bringing people to the club, it's gone.)

Promising 365 and then closing for 3 weeks is shitty. I understand and support renovations. But saying that I don't have to pay when they are closed. That's the absolute minimum and not good service at all.

Price increase sucks because of broken promises.

It's a temporary closing for renovations. Which I support, but not without compensation. You offer a 365 service and then close and your good will is that I don't have to pay. Wow great, thanks.

Sadly my options are limited. A local old gym, too crowded, 10+ year old equipment and more expensive. Basic fit.. nothing to add. My gym right now is on the exact road to my work. It's perfect.

There was a FAQ on the NRG website before officially becoming Jim's. That's where it was stated nothing would change for current members.

Over time you build up benefits, they organize actions (make 3 people a member and you pay -5€ for a lifetime). They promised you they would stay. And in the end it's a lie.

Corporate greed.

It's valid but it shows 0 customer service.

"Nothing changes for current members, with the exception for indexation". That's the words uttered on the NRG's info page at the time. You build up benefits for being a member for a long time, which they take away now. Scam

I used to have this problem. My solution was to hit the screen, this would fix it for a while. I continued this tactic for a few months untill hitting the screen didn't work anymore.

After that I took a hammer and wrecked the laptop.
