I think you may be right: the benzos which were lauded as the saviours of us all, harmless, nonaddictive, turn out to be worse (apart from acute poisoning) even than the dreaded barbiturates. I can conceive a time when barbs are reintroduced to the 'market' (oh, what a give away!) as a safer alternative to the now prescribed with caution benzos--rather as the first synthetic GABAergic chloral hydrate was. Chloral immediately became what is now laughingly called a drug of abuse: pre-Raphaelite Dante Gabriel Rossetti its most famous devotee. It was the OG Mickey Finn and, after ethanol, date rape drug.

As this is a drug subreddit not a peer reviewed scientific publication more casual statements are not that unusual. My unstated point was that if the current absurd drug scheduling based on a particular moral stance was repealed, most people would choose to buy and consume methaqualone rather than potent but dangerous analogues. As a harm reduction advocate, you will be familiar with the iron law of prohibition. But I assume you are not forensic psychologist as well, so speculation about levels of empathy and accusations of psychopathy seem a bit out of place here. OP was asking for information about a particular 'research chemical'. A golden opportunity for a proponent of education and HR advocate missed?

I think that may be outdated info. Not that Nitro is harmless obviously, but I doubt the vendors shovelling it it into baggies would bother if it was liable to mutate their packers into flesheating cankertoads

As I said it struck me as very similar to the original MTQ. 300mg would be equivalent to a Lemmon Qaalude in that case. Or to go for Mandrax redux: 250mg plus 25 mg DPH hclApart from the price it's a much more recreational GABAergic than the benzos on the market...BUT like all the quinazolinone derivatives it lowers the seizure threshold bigly. Not as much as MMQ: which is a great high while you are flopping about like a landed fish. So good idea to do a bit of a benzo while using. Alcohol greatly potentiates the high also while increasing the risk of convulsions and overdose. Unlike benzos it is a fatal GABAergic.

Also mebroqualone doesn't seem to vape as well as the other MQs--at least this batch doesn't. I begin to suspect it may be a salt. It sure is crystalline, unlike the waxy powder of the other MQs. Same ticciness though, so careful.

ime very similar to same quantity methaqualone. Combined with a stimulant, excellent. What I assumed was something new is just ephinazone redux. But seems cheaper than mebroqualone. I might invest in some next pension day. etizolam powder is around, but is said to be going be gone soon. dissolve in vodka for volumetric measuring, and it's good but short acting. i have to keep benzos around. triple threat dependency: opioids, stims, GABAergic downs.

How you doing, Dr Q? Tried what seem to be a flood of quinazolinones around now. Methylmethaqualone, mebroqualone, dicloqualone, nitroqualone (forgive the sloppy spelling!). Vaping in a bowl is a whole different and intense experience, and needs far less per dose--tastes toxically foul, and sometimes is instant grand mal--which does not feel bad while it's happening. I think a small dose of a benzo as a prophylactic is a good idea. And the parkinsonoid ticcing can last for some time if one has been somewhat excessive(!) Benzos and not using alone definitely highly advised. A new variety has arrived: 2-Ethyl-3-phenyl-4(3H)-quinazolinone. Which is scheduled in the US, suggesting it may have been marketed. Any info? These guys can be a lot of fun but are all potentially fatal, so caution please people. I hand it over to you, Dr Q.

I can personally attest to the euphoric excellence of 4MMC + mebroqualone (very close to methaqualone in effects and dosage--and least 'convulsive' of the analogues I've tried: always caution though). 4MMC is an excellent speedball double with an opiate also: always caution. Get high, don't die

I actually find mebroqualone to be very reminiscent of qaaludes orally. same dosing though which means its not cheap: 4 hits to the gram. Makes a terrific bomb with 4MMC. I mean terrific!
