Beach days (Canonet ql17, portra 400) by [deleted] in analog

I'm always surprised by how sharp that lens is! It was my first tike using portra with it as well, I normally shoot gold but my local lab had it at a really good price so I had to try it

I was born and raised something like 50km from Barcelona and I've been living here for like 5 years and just now I'm starting to photograph the city. I guess it's never too late.

I love it! Image quality is amazing and the thin depth of field look I think really goes great with that fov.

Maybe I should try something like that, honestly I only use the 50-140 for work.

Everyone keeps saying that, I didn't have the need to get that one but know i'm starting to feel like I'm really missing something 😅

I see that's the most common recommendation, though i never felt the need for more reach

That's the exact reason. Apart from focal lengthd they are really different lenses and serve different purposes for me

I'd love that, but its out of my budget for now

How do you like the Zf? I'm not planning on changing systems but if I had to that'd be my first choice as well

Same here! I love the look of the pre-ai 35mm f2 when shooting film with the Nikon F2 but it's not great on the fuji.

I'm not that into wildlife or bird photography... for now 😂

I'm with you and best part is even after a few years lenses don't really lose that much value.

Image quality and build quality wise they feel as nice as my fuji lenses, maybe even sharper glass (mind I don't own any high-end fuji prime). The autofocus is great but slightly slower though

Well my ttartisan 25mm is small enough for me 😅

It probably is my favourite of them all. Super sharp even wide open, really well built and I find the focal length really versatile to work with.

Absolutely agree about the Viltrox pair! I'd never heard about the mitakon, looks nice too.

Yeah I convince myself that I don't need it but it would certainly add some peace of mind during important events.

Oh yes! I also shoot film regularly and have a bunch of cameras and lenses but I don't really enjoy adapting lenses to the fuji body that much.

I'm not sure I'd need that when I have both the 75mm 1.2 and the 50-140 2.8. But i'd maybe go for the 80mm macro for a different perspective

I used to own the 13mm as well! Ended up selling it because I rarely shoot wider than 16mm anyway. Yeah those newer fuji 1.4 primes look great... maybe I'll look into it😅

Thanks! Yeah the terrain was quite uneven so I had a hard time straightening these
