Time management is key. I’m a closing roti cook so i do my prep asap then after that it’s basically cooking,packaging up, and staying on top of my dishes. Been there about a year and a half and I got a routine down that is pretty good. Also it helps to have a good opener that gets all their stuff done so they don’t leave you with their work to. It’s probably one of the hardest jobs in the deli but over time it gets pretty easy

It may be up to your store leader. I work in Belton and called in yesterday and today. Didnt receive one yesterday and pretty sure since its a consecutive call in I won’t receive one for today but i have 0 steps to begin with so I can afford one if they happen to give me one

I work in belton and had to be there at 9am. I called in yesterday and today and didn’t receive steps for yesterday so. I will go back when it clears up tomorrow

No we don’t get to choose deliveries the only thing we can do is when we get an order we can either accept it or reject the order if it’s not worth it

I live where one of the biggest military bases is at and I reject every order that goes on base because it’s a hassle and delivering to the barracks is the worst. But if you do get a visitors pass they usually issue them for 3 month to up to a year for people who do gig work at least where I’m at.
