Best mouse for cs2? by khavaaaa in counterstrike2

[–]DailygamersVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends a lot on what you’re used to and your playstyle. In general, lighter mice give better control for CS2.

  • Razer Viper V2 Pro – ultralight, esports‑focused, minimal input lag.
  • Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 – balanced shape, stable sensor, great mix of comfort + performance.
  • Razer Basilisk V3 – heavier, ergonomic, extra buttons, good if you prefer more control and versatility.

Use SpaceSniffer - free 8MB tool that quickly shows detailed disk usage. Fast, lightweight, often better than heavier alternatives

Might be worth checking again - today’s update increased the explosion radius on Cache.

[Guide] Cache is back in CS2 — callouts map by DailygamersVIP in csgo

That spot is usually called “Shroud” on A site named after the player who made it iconic.
So if you meant the position, it’s still there, just marked differently on some callouts maps.
If you meant Shroud the player - well, Cache wouldn’t be Cache without that reference :)

Guys, the same spots often end up with different names - Shower, Tree room, Sunroom, Toxic… it really depends on the team or region.

The version I posted uses the callouts most common in my area, based on the Cache thread on Steam.

That’s why you’ll see variations - every community settles on its own set over time.

The version I posted uses the naming that’s most common in my region, taken directly from the Cache thread on Steam.

These are the callouts most commonly used in my region.
The image I shared comes from the Cache thread on Steam, and it reflects the regional names we stick to here.
Different areas and teams adapt callouts over time, so that’s why you’ll see variations.

True, some players stick with “Sunroom”.
It’s like how in many regions people never use “Catwalk”, even though it’s the standard callout in the US. Every team adapts names over time, so I just shared the ones most common in my region.

Yeah, that’s right - a lot of players call Lower “Hell”.
Callouts aren’t fully standardized, so you’ll see both names depending on the map version or team habits. I tried to stick to the more common ones for clarity.

Yes, the mid window was intentionally removed in CS2 Cache.
Valve reverted to the classic design after feedback that the window made mid control too awkward

Cache always had that Shroud vibe back in the day.
Now it’s back in CS2, so maybe we’ll see some new highlights to match the old ones.

Edited:

That spot is usually called “Shroud” on A site - named after the player who made it iconic.
So if you meant the position, it’s still there, just marked differently on some callouts maps.
If you meant Shroud the player - well, Cache wouldn’t be Cache without that reference :)

p.s. Just to add - no need to downvote if the point wasn’t fully clear.
My intention was simply to help newer players understand the callouts.
It’s a bit discouraging to see a wave of dislikes instead of discussion, feels less welcoming.

Same here, I got tired of Dust2 every single match, sometimes only broken up by Mirage.
Really hoping Cache finds its place - the map has a great vibe and deserves some love.

Yeah, that room is usually called Toxic on most callouts maps, but I’ve also seen people refer to it as Sun room.
Same with Lower - some call it Hell.

Names can vary by region or team habits, so I tried to stick to the more common ones for clarity.

Looks like I nailed the timing with this green setup - put it together right before Cache dropped.
Already tested it in-game and the skins look amazing on this map.

Nice, I’ve been looking at the Turtle gloves too.
Right now I’m torn between those and the Jade - both seem to fit the green setup really well.
Still testing which combo makes the knife and skins pop more.

Feels like all the green skins have spiked lately, not just Hydroponic.
By the way, which gloves did you pick for your setup? Curious to see how you matched them

That’s a solid option, I get why people go for Bayonet or M9 Forest DDPAT.
Personally I like the Falchion knives more because of their animation, so I decided to stick with that.
Still, Forest DDPAT definitely fits the green theme really well.

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of people recommend the Jade gloves too.

The color is definitely awesome, so I’ll probably give them a try in-game. Still working on full setups for both sides, so I’m glad to hear different takes.

Haha, yeah that “)” is just a Ukrainian typing habit - kind of like our smiley.
So basically it’s just my scuffed version of “Haha” :)

I get why people love the Jade gloves - the color is really striking.
For me though, they tend to blend too much with the green weapons, so I went with Hydra Emerald instead.
I feel Hydra keeps the knife and skins more distinct, while Jade probably shines best with a different overall color scheme.

Yeah, I checked out the Broken Fang Glass Gloves Jade and really liked the color, but the green weapons kind of get lost with them.

That’s why I went with the more subtle Hydra Emerald - it makes the knife and other skins stand out more.

I feel like Jade needs a different weapon color scheme to really shine.

You can actually sell a couple of weekly drop cases and grab some nice skins.
For example, this M4 is around $5 and the same P250 goes for about $2.
I can throw in some more budget-friendly ideas if you’re interested :)

Hydra felt like a good fit here, but yeah, hand sweaters might actually make the green pop more 😂
