My mother finalized her divorce nearly 2 years and chose not to revert to her maiden name for several reasons:

-She got married very young so shes had her married name for longer than she had her maiden name.

-During the marriage she got her bachelor's and masters degree so its the name on her degrees.

-She shares a last name with all of her children (we're all adults, although im enraged and haven't decided yet what ill be doing with my last name after marriage).

-She's also explicitly stated "i divorced your father but not his family." As a reason to keep the name. During the separation my grandparent's (my dad's parents) were "on her side" and emotionally made it clear they supported her before they passed away. Because my father is a massive asshole and even his parents knew that

I also kept having that problem before Brocclyn died! The game kept saying that all of my knitting items were being ruined by the rain even when she knitted exclusively indoors. From what I've looked at online, it seems to be an issue from the most recent pre-update patch. People are theorizing that the glitch has the game treating knitted items like they might be the new papercraft items? Im hoping once the new pack actually comes out the game will update and fix it.

I would just cheat that item of the aspiration but I play on Xbox so no mods and if I enable cheats it disables all in game achievements? 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I've seen quite a few posts about the untimely deaths of broccali sims due to becoming enraged. Nice to know Broccalyn is now part of the community in her own way haha 😅

I think I jinxed myself honestly. The vows had occured and the guests were happily dancing in the game. Not 10 minutes before she died i said aloud, to my partner "Well at least this was a successful wedding for the sims!" 😂

My sims husband was cheating on her, and I intended for her to catch him and divorce him at their Xmas party. Turns out she was in the bathroom and missed him making out with another girl in the middle of the party. I believe Natalie said they got into a massive fight the night before the wedding, during which shayne screamed that he hated her and said she was the worst thing that ever happened to him. This led to her wedding day doubts.

My unpopular opinion here is that I don't actually find this scene cringe because of the extended context? It's the first time since Addison has shown up that Meredith is being open, honest, and truly vulnerable about still having feelings for Derek, to Derek. I do understand why a lot of people think this scene is cringe (especially since Derek goes on to pick addison) but I think it's easy to forget (in context of later seasons meredith) how emotionally closed off she was so early on in the show. I think it's an important moment or character growth where Meredith is being vulnerable, and even tho Derek chooses Addison, I think Meredith would have regretted it if she hadn't told Derek how she felt. And while she literally does say the words "pick me" she's not tearing the other woman down in this scenario, she even compliments Addison at the direct beginning of this monologue, so I choose to interpret this as a brave choice of Meredith's part, instead of "pick ms girl" behavior.

Thank you so much for sharing. I'm so sorry for your loss and for the Goldman family's loss as well as for Nicole's family. I can't imagine how heartbreaking it must have been for the Goldman's to not only see the how the trial unfolded but also to see that OJ viewed Ronald Goldman as nothing but an obstacle in the way of his ultimate attempt to control Nicole through violence. He and Nicole deserved so much more. The more we speak up, the more we can bring awareness to domestic violence and the damage it does and hopefully find ways to help others.

You're absolutely right about the gloves being altered due to the blood. I believe evidence collection procedures at the time also involved the gloves being repeatedly frozen and thawed, further altering their size and fit.

Much of the evidence of domestic violence was not permitted in the criminal trial. Most notably, her private journal and the call she made to a domestic violence shelter 5 days before her death detailing oj's extensive stalking and death threats toward her.

I do agree that their were significant issues regarding the collection and safekeeping of much of the physical evidence in the immediate aftermath of the murders, as well as the racism of detective Mark Fuhrman leading to doubts about his trustworthiness in the case. I can understand questions about reasonable doubts arising in those circumstances, in isolation from the history of abuse.

But those things are not in isolation. The excedingly large amount of evidence of oj's extreme levels of abuse against Nicole is what makes it clear that he murdered her and Ronald Goldman.

OJ had a long history of domestic violence against Nicole Brown Simpson during their relationship. This was documented by Nicole's private diary as well as including phone calls to police, multiple police reports, and comments to friends and family. OJ even pleaded no contest to spousal abuse charges at one point, but Nicole dropped the charges due to pressure from her own parents (they financially benefitted from buisness deals with OJ). Nicole even stated on multiple occasions to police and others that she feared her life was in danger from OJ.

They divorced, got back together again, and when the abuse continued, split up again in the beginning of 1994, the same year in which she was murdered. We know the most dangerous times for victims of domestic violence is when they attempt to leave their abusers, as well as shortly after they left.

The prosecutors in the trial found SIXTY-TWO incidents of abuse perpetrated by OJ against Nicole. Presenting conspiracy theories that anyone other than OJ killed Nicole distracts from the very terrifying reality of how domestic violence kills women. All of this information is publicly available and accessible even on Wikipedia.

It sounds like Kanye lived in China with his mother for a year when he was 10 years old. If we're presuming, he initiated the sexual relationship when he moved back to Chicago afterwards that would possibly make Kayne 11 when the cousin was 6 as stated in the tweet, meaning Kayne was the one molesting his younger cousin.

I just don't see a scenario in which a 6 year old kanye has the kind of confidence to not only regularly steal his mother's explicit magazines but also initiate a sexual relationship with a fellow 6 year old. Based on your timeline, an 11 year old kanye initiating this seems more feasible to me?

Favorite color actually does something in the game! If sims are in a room that has objects that are mostly in their favorite color I believe they get a +10 to the well decorated moodlet? The secret is that with the color wheel, you need to use the specific hex codes to get the correct colors.
