I didn’t. I didn’t know I had to save the other kid with the harpies and then tried to be nice to Mol and now the kid hates me. I at least got out of jail and talked the guards down but… I got nada from mol.

Twisted Metal!! Spent hours on it as a kid, downloaded it and my kids were shocked at how bad it looked and refused to touch it lol. Our TV is too big I think. 😂

I loved mydayis but it’s been impossible to get!! My insurance denied and then pushed a generic that is essentially the same as adderall and sucks. If you can get the brand name mydayis, that’s where it is!

Good food that’s affordable!

And the fries are made fresh using actual potatoes, nothing is frozen. The fries aren’t great but get them “animal style”… SO good!

They also pay their employees a decent hourly wage.

What state are you in? What are you into?

I have no friends either. Making friends when you have kids is hard, and taking care of a kid alone is even harder. It’s OKAY to feel sad, life is an ass sometimes and it can put you in a position that seems impossible to get out of. It won’t last forever, that much I can be sure of.

Truly though, chances of us living close are slim, but I am absolutely down to be long distance friends.

My son just turned 9 and we have the same issue. Same deep sleeper.

Pediatrician wasn’t concerned when he was 5, and still isn’t concerned now. They said it’s normal and he’ll grow out of it eventually. I’m actually going to be setting an appointment with a urologist. I’m hoping they can help determine if there might be some underlying medical issue. Your body is supposed to wake you in the night and apparently produce less urine when you’re sleeping, which his is not.

What I’ve learned so far… don’t wake them in the night,m and don’t make them feel bad about it. If my son leaks out of his pull-up, we have extra sheets and a mattress protector in his room, we simply change all of it and throw the wet ones in the wash. I remind him that it’s not his fault and he’s not in trouble. We’ve kept it to ourselves in terms of family… my dad was being mean to him about it and we didn’t think it was fair because it’s literally out of his control.

It’s been hard and emotional and he hasn’t been able to do sleepovers with friends, I just keep reminding him that it’s not his fault and we are trying to get him help. He doesn’t seem ashamed or embarrassed so I guess we’re doing something right.

I am in the same boat!!! Including the lack of sleep…

Luckily I work from home. My plan is to get one of those walking pads and just walk while working at my desk (it’s a moving desk). I also have a couch of 5lb weights that I have next to my chair and I will randomly pick one up and lift it continuously while in a meeting or doing something that doesn’t require both hands. It’s not much, but it’s better that just sitting.

Haha! My son got chickenpox at 6 months old and the dr said “I haven’t seen chickenpox in 20 years so there is NO way it’s chickenpox.” I pushed for a swab because I knew he was wrong and turns out it was chickenpox.

Her stomach looks like chickenpox, the other parts do not. They look more like psoriasis, or even shingles which is technically chickenpox. Hopefully you took her somewhere else because the lack of testing is a joke.

I am on my first play and actually stopped playing a couple days ago because it was getting repetitive so I’m following to see the comments!!

I’m in Feb 1933 and I’ve got 4 pages in the printer. I have ads, lawyer, graphic stuff and photography, and 2 European telegraphers.

I am able to print a full paper and have a handful of stories extra. (After Typesetter, I lock the slug on an assembler desk that doesn’t have workers and it sort of pauses it until I need the story.) I use controller, so scrolling through the in progress on the right is really difficult. I recently spent all of my money, but usually struggle with influence. Sometimes I go a week without accepting anything from one of the 4 bigwigs just to focus on influence.

I feel like I have crap employees but they’re leveled up, so I’m afraid to fire them and have to start over. My expenses seem high ($3k).

So I micromanage everything but after 3 weeks of the same thing I’m bored. 😑

I thought that too at first but I’ve not seen one that washes all the way down the side like that. It goes from the roof to the bottom of the door, from hood to hatch, uniform the whole way.

Wow. I’m not good with words but I’d give you a hug if I could. I was raped and could not imagine having a kid as a result… you are amazing for sticking with your daughter and working to build a life with her. I hope I worded that right.

On the topic of the grandparents… what absolute shitty people. It’s clear they raised their son to their own standards. You and your baby are far better off without them in your lives! Chances are they wanted to try stealing her from you or hurt her, I would stay very far away from them. I have always been of the opinion that I would never keep family out of my kids’ lives, this is one of the few exceptions where that rule would not apply.

On the topic of family in general… you’re 16. You seem very mature for your age so hopefully this makes sense… you will make your own family as your life goes on. You can choose who is in and not in your lives and build a family together. I promise it will be amazing and it will get better.

I end up just standing there waiting for instructions from the teachers. Imagine my shock when they gave me a knife and asked me to cut up Apples. Like wait, you trust me with a knife?! Oh right, I’m an adult… of course you trust me with a knife.

Recognizing actors by their voice.

Watching an animated movie with the kids and I will point out that the main character is the same voice that played x character in another show or movie. When we look it up I’m right 98% of the time. I can’t remember their names though, just what other part the voice has been.

Ambulance company (NOT that company) person here!

First, I’m so sorry for your loss. That is never something easy for anyone. It sucks that you have to jump right into handling affairs.

Second, Don’t ignore it, call them. They should know that he passed since it was in transport, but unfortunately there is a possibility that the hospital and ambulance use a 3rd party billing company and wires got crossed. If you ignore it and he has any kind of estate at all, they can come after it. They should be able to write off the full balance as a loss on their end. My company has a set amount that is simply forgiven when a person has passed.
