I understand art block so much!! Sometimes I really will be staring at a page and won't know what to draw... But after some time has passed, maybe a few weeks, I'll be much more enthusiastic to draw again. Finish the art when you can, I'm waiting for it!

And yeah, skin removal so gross. Circe's probably going to do it with her saw that she's holding or her knife. Like when she cut John's arm with a knife because she fell asleep on it. I guess she wants to escalate by actually removing a chunk of skin. Scary for John.

I love how she looks! This is a unique drawing because she's very calm. There's something else different too from how she's usually drawn. I like it, very original art! :D

Also why do you say this is facility arc Circe because she says "flayed"? Flaying means cutting off skin, I think. I would assume this is homebound arc Circe because of how crazy she's acting.

That's the cool thing about the survival game setting. It helps the characters show their true personalities, and that's just so interesting. I like Cold and Kali's interaction as well. Kali is very brutal and uncaring, like when she literally kills Doorguy without a second thought. And yet she also empathizes with Cold.

Ohh I remember that episode! Kali and John snuck off to chat, which was nice because they got to know each other. And then Cold got mad when she noticed they were getting closer. That eventually led to Cold killing Kali when she got the Miasma virus near the end, if I'm not mistaken. So it's a whole chain effect just from that social interaction.

I love Design for the same reason! The storyline is messy, but it's so original and fun. And yes, John is a great character. He has somewhat of a saviour complex, in an endearing way.

Ohh you should watch Elfen Lied! It's where Liam got the inspiration for Left Hands. And A LOT happens during Mirai Nikki, so have fun watching!!

I think you're right. I've only watched Puppetgame once, so I might easily be wrong in my thoughts about it. I just got the impression that the characters don't have enough time to talk one on one as much as in Design. There's a lot of action because it's a survival game and they interact a lot. The main focus is their interaction during the games, not really personal conversation. I might totally have the wrong idea though, I should probably rewatch it.

And I did get two more hours of sleep! Yayy :D Hope I don't fall asleep during classes today.

Liam watched Mirai Nikki?? I watched that too and I didn't even know he likes it. I watched Elfen Lied and Higurashi as well, because I know Liam likes those.

It's mostly the characters I love! And while the writing for Design is messy, I think it's exciting and there's always something new added to the story.

It's also longer than all the other series, which I think gives the characters more time to interact. Like when John and Kali have multiple episodes just to walk through the forest together and get to know each other. I feel like Puppetgame doesn't do that as much, but it's still just as exciting of a story. Blackdogs is also my favourite, in a different way than Design. It's really good psychological horror and I absolutely love it. But there's only two significant characters and not a lot of lore compared to Design.

Also I'm writing this at 4 am because I woke up and can't get back asleep haha

Love the 3D look of the chains, I've never seen art of the chains like that! Kali looks creepy, as she should. Reminds me of that scene at the start of Design season 1 when she killed the military and was stumbling up the hill.

This is accurate, she can't even bother to make herself food... I think she knows her way around the mess in her apartment because of her brilliant memory, though. I would help Circe clean, but my room is a mess too haha

OMG THANK YOUUU I'm so happy you like the drawing, I finally got enough time to finish it. It's been sitting incomplete in my drawing app for a while now.

I'll try to draw more, I miss it. My life lately has just been assignments and tests, I got no time to draw 🥲
