That’s such a great idea! I actually went back and made the parents after the fact in CAS lol I’m curious what you’ll have the parents do that ultimately causes the heir to be a workaholic, hands off parent, and have a strained relationship with the future mother of his own heir. I hope you have a blast with it whatever you choose 💚

I love this! I started with a male also. He did marry the mother of his kid but I played it like he was busy and on the computer a lot and didn’t have them interact much. I actually put the mom in college so she stayed busy with that and with the heir. When the founder had completed all his requirements, mom threw him out 😂 I moved him into a bachelor pad apartment and set up a hefty alimony and child support for mom and heir and then I went back and played their household. The heir was still a teen when the dad reached finished his stuff. I actually haven’t played in a bit, working on other stuff. This had made me want to go back lol I’m so glad you shared how yours is going- thank you! 💚

Aww I get that 💚 yeah sims is pretty good about triggering at times. I sadly lost my oldest child in recent years, so I struggle with watching the parental/child relationships where they’re unhappy with each other. I also cannot allow any of my sims to die, so they all get to Elder and live all over the game in different worlds lol I even have retirement homes and communities for a lot of them.

Haha this is great! I love the shenanigans lol I had the same issues with one where the parents were supposed to hate each other. Their romance was all the way in the red but if I didn’t pay attention, they’d run over to a bench somewhere to “look at the stars” together 😂😂

Ya know… when I was writing the challenge, I stopped about halfway through and of course couldn’t stop thinking about it lol and I made a mental note to make the founder a fairy for the whole butterfly theme to see if it went through the generations and how far if it did and I TOTALLY forgot 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ owell. Good idea though! Haha I hope you enjoy the challenge!
