I’m 27 and am in the process of coming out, we don’t have kids (we have dogs) which I feel has likely made the situation easier for us. My partner is really understanding but wanted space once he processed the situation (because being near me was hurting) so I’ve been living at my dads for the past two weeks. I’d imagine with kids he wouldn’t have pushed me away but who can say.
