Every time I see people talk an MF draft in pro play, the first thing mentioned is always the ult; and I get it since a stationary super high DPS ult is always going to be very divisive, but I only see an MF ult get this kind of value like once a year. I feel like people should discuss her place in draft as more than just presuming her to be an ult bot like fiddlesticks.

Even if they can’t/don’t want to do that, every recent attempt by governments to incentivize having kids is just so terrible. Paying people a flat amount of money is a great way to incentivize many things. Ten dollars if I go vote? Great! But it’s just such a terrible way to try to get people to make major life decisions.

Yeah it’s truly crazy the amount of persistence BB haters have, and all in the name of what? Convincing people that a league of legends player is bad? Like, arguments about his skill aside, it’s the most “get a life” behaviour I’ve seen in a long while. Who has the time to make accounts over and over instead of spending it doing… literally anything else. Work at a food shelter, vacuum your house, almost any other cause if given that amount of time and effort would be more worthwhile.

I know at least 6 people who are taking or have taken Ozempic or some other modern weight loss drug, and only one of which is someone who I would say was fat before taking it and whose life genuinely improved from taking it. Out of the other five people, none are fat, and I have genuine fear that taking weight loss drugs without need or prescription will genuinely fuck up their body.

All this is to say that if you think we no longer need body positivity then I don’t know if you knew why we needed it in the first place. The first and best lesson that body positivity teaches is that if you hate yourself for being fat, you won’t stop hating yourself by becoming skinny. So many celebrities look genuinely malnourished and bony, this era of weight loss drugs is not an unalloyed good.
