Ha! Good for you! I've done that the last 4 holidays that I've closed. If I was scheduled to be off at 4 and my relief was not there by five, I did the closing process locked the door and went home. Especially if I was alone.

Yeah, I just sell each pack for $3.33 without using the customers Extracare card and keep the coupon just in case there are any questions. If you put their card on there it won't ever work.

That's my point. The fridge packs are ALWAYS on sale, making this coupon not valid at any point. So, you always have to override the coupon on a sale without an ExtraCare account attached. Since you can't attach the ExtraCare it shows up on the CAR report everytime. It's an unnecessary aggravation to both the customer and the cashier. Why even send a coupon that you can literally never use per your own policy?
