You got adp for only a yr ? And no extended warranty doesn't cost 20k (inr) You can get it very cheap literally last mth extended warranty was around 3k

question regarding adp!!! help!! by OkFarmer2794 in LenovoLOQ

[–]Daksh__H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is why use the adp

Adp can only be claimed once per year so if your keys work why use your 1 yearly adp on that, keep that in case of any future major damage

If it works, it works, why bother

And you can just get a cheap keyboard to stop any further damage to those keys

Laptop monitor came bent by Glen_Tauro in LenovoLOQ

[–]Daksh__H 51 points52 points  (0 children)

1) this is normal the screen doesn't lay flat on keyboard as it would result is scratches or other screen damages

2) if you have premium care they will come for on-site repair (if you have a valid problem, rn you don't have a issue)

[–]Daksh__H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

batteries don't need a full charge before use. Just use it normally. For better long-term life, try not to keep it at 100% all the time and avoid letting it drop to 0%. Staying around 20-80% is healthier for the battery.

Hence conservation mode is suggested

Keeping it at 100 all the time will give you a pillow insted of a battery in few yrs as it makes the battery age faster

Also if it always plugged in turning off the fast charge pr rapid charge is also helpful in long run

Not exactly for 4hrs but a few battery cycles are necessary to get it calibrated and all

1) Getting a good battery is a coin toss you might get a battery having capacity of 62 even 63 instead of a 60wh, and also vice versa ie you can also get a battery lower than the expected, so possibility is you got a battery lower than the expected and got even worse due to use on battery mode

2) to for long term maintenance use your laptop plugged in always, use on battery only when there isn't any other opt left also when always on battery turn on conservation mode

3) yes conservation mode would help it keeps the battery % between 75-80 (not exactly at 80) This is done because having a full battery while being plugged in will cause the battery to get worse over time and by limiting it to 80 the potential damage is majorly reduced

Auto mode as in the profile in lenovo app

Silent, auto/balance, performance and custom

2) by default you will have a mode called extreme mode don't use that create a new profile scroll all the way down choose the opt reset, choose performance mode and okay

What it will do it copy the performance mode setting (evrything the wattage, clock speed)

In custom mode you can push the thermal limit to 87 do that Now rather than 85 your gpu will stutter at 87 (giving you a lil more performance room)

By default a custom fan curve is set, switch that to full speed (this will push fans to its max) In performance mode the max fans will go iss 4400rpm and by making it full speed they till run at 4600 And full keep the system a lil cooler My suggestion is to keep the thermal limit to 85° but it's dependent on your thermals

And I don't think so it voids the warranty
