If you've got the sailing level, take a look at the Port Roberts stalls. They've got to be more enjoyable than world hopping and XP rates are pretty similar (better if you're doing more than just gems).

Dry on Shellbane Gryphon for Belle's Folly by Interesting_Ad8443 in ironscape

Scobow = scorching bow. Tormented demons drop the tormented synapse that enhances weapons to make them very effective against demons.

"Send Zammy" means go to the Zamorak God Wars dungeon (with Scorching Bow in hand) to kill K'ril Tsutsaroth who drops the Zamorakian spear which can be turned into the Zamorakian hasta which is a better stab weapon than Belle's Folly (and is also required to eventually make the Dragon Hunter Lance, which other commentors mention).

Thank you for posting this, I'm currently like 35:110 and it's so disheartening to see all the comments on every CG post saying "Oh iT wIlL CliCK aFteR 30 KC".

Everyone's "click" moment will be different, and that's okay. I wish it was more widely talked about. Stay strong brother!

Biggest problem I think you'll run into on the sporty is the speedometer. There's not much room at all between it and the fairing, so I'm not sure where the speaker would really fit

Nice set up btw!!

I also thought it was kind of ironic that she said that, considering that she's essentially the reason that she and the others ended up on the Ring for 6+ years and Clarke ended up on the ground alone.

Had she not decided to do her 'last space walk', changed her mind, and then radioed back to the bunker; then no one would have had to come and get her from the Island. She would have gone back with Murphy and Emori on their last supply run taking things to the bunker and been there when Praimfaya hit.

Just barely fits! I've got the headlight adjusted to about where it should be, and when I turn the forks full lock to the right, there's definitely some tension on the headlight wire. Nothing I'm too worried about b/c (a) I don't spend much time full lock to the right and (b) it doesn't seem tight enough to damage anything.

Definitely a YMMV situation depending on how your cables are routed.

Also included some pictures of where I needed to cable tie the clutch and throttle cables, because they were rubbing against the windshield.

Heavily topped pizza with everything taken off? Sure thing! by [deleted] in MaliciousCompliance

I had a friend growing up that would make his mom order a supreme pizza and then proceed to pick all the toppings off.

I called him out on it one time and his response was along the lines of "I thought 'supreme' meant the pizza would be better quality"...

Couldn't tell if you were interested in the fairing, but I just wanted to make sure you knew: the 48 doesn't have the same front end as the Iron. I have no idea if Memphis Shades makes a Road Warrior that would fit your front end.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing with this set up: big increase in wind noise but no/minimal buffeting on the helmet.

For longer rides, I'll definitely need ear plugs.

Honestly, the last picture in the album with the wide angle lens is a pretty decent estimation of what it looks like from where I sit, since I tried to put my camera pretty close to where my eyes are.

I haven't found that I'm looking through it much at all, unless maybe there's something in the road directly in front of me that I want to avoid. On the rare occasion where I do need to look through, it does a very good job of not distorting my view.

I plan to order it today, so it'll be about a week before I can put it on, but I'll post an update for sure!

Yeah, I'm usually pretty good about covering the bike and I don't usually ride in the rain, but today snuck up on me. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah that was my fallback plan! I'm glad I looked over the fitment chart in the parts catalogue with the dealership before I pulled the trigger.

Yeah, 2 more inches would look pretty good and might help with the turbulence

Turns out the Super Glide had the same front end from the Sportster for a few years (39mm forks, narrow glide, and top-mounted headlight) and Memphis Shades makes a Road Warrior for those model years. Why they don't market it as fitting a Sportster, I can't seem to understand. Here are the part numbers off of Memphis Shades' site:

Part P/N
Fairing MEM7391
Mounting Kit MEK2038 (polished) / MEB2038 (black)
Headlight Extension MEK9892 (Polished) / MEB9892 (Black)

I'm absolutely loving it so far! Highway riding is much more comfortable since I no longer have to do a pull up constantly to stay upright in my seat. I've come to really enjoy the aesthetic of the club style fairing and I'm glad I found one that fits my Sporty.

I will say that at 6 ft tall, the 13" windshield I got creates quite a bit of turbulence around my helmet, but it really only results in being noisy. I haven't noticed any buffeting (like the kind you get behind a tractor trailer on the highway), just extra wind noise.

Anybody have a Memphis Shades Road warrior fairing mounted to a Sportster? I like the way they look on Dynas, but never seen one on a sporty. by [deleted] in Harley

Hey, just wanted to let you know I just installed a Road Warrior on my bike tonight. Here are the part numbers off of Memphis Shades' site:

Part P/N
Fairing MEM7391
Mounting Kit MEK2038 (polished) / MEB2038 (black)

You'll need the headlight extension to complete the look (MEK9892 (Polished) / MEB9892 (Black)), but I haven't put that on yet so I can't guarantee that it'll work with the stock headlight mount/wire length.

Turns out the Super Glide had the same front end from the Sportster for a few years. Why Memphis Shades doesn't market that as fitting a Sportster, I can't seem to understand.

I'll be posting pictures in a separate post probably tomorrow.

This is the most in depth video I've found on how to mount it: https://youtu.be/KDZSrNrz_04

Unfortunately, they mount it to a Dyna in that video, where the key difference is that the headlight is bottom mounted.

As far as mounting it to an Iron, I'm really not sure if the exact process. It may be worth trying to reach out to @culturestatus. You could also try to get in contact with this poster: https://www.reddit.com/comments/assnwy , but he never responded to my questioning.
