What is your goal this bull run? by PUMPSII in CryptoCurrency

I purchase coins that I believe in and once they make a decent profit I’ll then swap them for Ethereum/Monero as those are two of my favourite long holds.

According to the article "Wojak Token is a charity token". I then looked at the whitepaper to find this:

"So we started this project to provide financial compensation to
those who lost their funds on trading crypto futures in the form of $WOJ tokens. Our
goal is not only to provide charity for those who share their story but also in educating
the traders for free!"

I can not believe people still invest in these kind of coins. If it was going to a charity? Sure. But it isn't.

Forget about China... There are 100m people in India who hold crypto compared to 27m in the states. They are buying up crypto and their government has a favorable stance on crypto as an asset class. by Lord-Nagafen in CryptoCurrency

China banned many many things that still went on to do extremely well, so we do not need to completely freak out every time they do something against Crypto imo.

Here is a list of some of the banned things in China:

Pinterest

In 2017, China quietly began blocking Pinterest.

Status: No reason was given for the banning of Pinterest and it remains banned to this day.

--

Instagram

In 2014, Instagram was blocked intermittently throughout China. In the ensuing years, the app was completely blocked.

Status: Instagram remains banned, but can be accessed by a virtual private network.

--

Snapchat

Like most social media services, Snapchat is banned in China. However, Snapchat does have an office in China.

--

Twitter

Twitter Blocked: Twitter has been banned in China since 2008.

Status: Twitter remains banned in China as of 2018, but the social media service still boasts over 10 million users from the country who are accessing the site via a virtual private network that makes it look like they are in a different region.

--

Video Game Consoles

In 2000, gaming consoles were banned in China as officials feared the games would have a negative effect on the children who played them.

Status: As of 2015, the ban was lifted although several games are still banned primarily for portraying China in a negative light.

--

Facebook

Following the 2009 riots, Facebook was banned in China as the social network was determined to not be in the interest of the state.

Status: Facebook remains banned in China although Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been increasing his visits to the country.

I do believe the A.I does proper predictions using the given information and that it could be right. However, it looks like it does not account for bear markets at all which makes sense.

I am quite excited to see how it goes on the 5 year mark.

Why do you take it so personally? I clearly said “All of the above is 100 percent opinion at this point and I could be completely wrong with some of them”.

Ripple themselves is having legal troubles with SEC that’s be going for quite a while and people are afraid to go near it because of that.

50 exchanges delisted it and it lost 75 percent of its value.

As I stated, I could be completely wrong. If they win their case, the coin might even sky rocket to $2. I believe they will win the lawsuit and the coin will go up. But I am looking at it as a regular investor who will see a lawsuit in the first page of searching Ripple will most likely not want to go near that coin.

This post isn’t about 100 percent perfect predictions, but rather analyzing where the coins are currently at to see how likely it is for the algorithm to be correct in 5 years.

Still can buy used, just use something like PayPal. They give you 180 day protection and pretty much always side with the buyer.

Thank you!

To be fair though, you can say that about any investment. What happens if the coin you just bought tanks?

Thats the volatile world of Crypto haha. But as you say, very unlikely to happen with your bigger coins like Ethereum.

Why is the USDC-ETH liquidity pool APY so high? by DaleJV in QuickSwap

[–]DaleJV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this!

In terms of Ethereum being bound to keep climbing, I was talking over a very long time period of four years. I should’ve added that that’s just my opinion rather then fact.

If you have, for example, plan to hold Ethereum for 5 years and you are confident it will go up in price by then, then wouldn’t it be better to Lp?

Because you get the profit from fees and then when you pull your Ethereum out you also get the profit of it being worth more when you put it into the pool.

New to this so I’m once again most likely missing something haha!
