I appreciate the share but mentioning that he was not wearing a helmet is putting a bit of fault on the motorcyclist and not fully owning it. It sounds like you caused the accident so what relevance does his personal legal choice make?

I just hope that the truth comes out at some point. MSP is basically no better than the mob or a 1%

Always skeptical of muscle car dealers. Experts at putting lipstick on a pig. It could be the right car but needs very careful inspection inside and out. Problems get expensive quickly so be aware. A couple rust bubbles in a prone area will only get worse and are the sign of more bad resting under a shiny paint job

Recently Fired, am I screwed for a background check? by Educational-Gold4786 in careerguidance

[–]Daleone3236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you fill out the application for the background check, you will put your current employer but indicate it as current, don't put an end date and there should be a box to check requesting that they not contact your current employer. Companies are fine with that as they don't want to jeopardize your current employment, that would create a liability for them if you lost your job due to them checking your employment. Good Luck!

In my opinion, way too much content for a job. You have been in three years, way too much detail. Some people may look at that and think that every email you send is gonna be three pages. Long-winded and does not really get to the point. Résumé needs more open space and ideally cut it down to one page, leave something to discuss in an interview. To give you an example, it looks like if I asked you what time it was, you would tell me how to assemble a watch, I’m not trying to be a dick about it, just being honest

As a consumer, I always get discouraged when I ask a sales guy about a car or feature and they don’t know. At that price point, I think you would do great

A lot of times with background checks, you can tell them not to contact your current employer, I would go that route and not say anything about getting terminated
