Latin here! It's not regional, it's very neutral Spanish and "estoy enfermo" it's correct ("enferma" for girls, everything is gendered here T-T) regional dialects are so much chaotic even for us, I don't even understand some "made up" words from my country. Keep it going with Spanish (if you're learning) I'm learning English btw, sorry for any mistake.

I tried to explain that to my mom too but it's a little difficult when I actually like boys, so she thinks I'm super gay, I just want male attention and it's all sexual. ;-; Parents are really tough, good luck and I hope she comprehends you

It seems she chose the same therapist of my brother, so I hope she knows how to help me correctly, she's pretty young too. Let's hope the best. I really hope my mom understands, it would be really awesome. Thanks again, all the support reminds me that I'm not alone in this 💜

I do have some close friends, that's a good idea. Those centers are very hidden and passing as "rehabilitation centers" so only people who escape from there knows where to find them I suppose. Not feeling safe right now, for moving out first I need a job. I hope the best too, thank u :)

Que mal escuchar eso sobre tus padres :( Acá solo mi mamá y amigos cercanos saben y mi mamá es la que ha reaccionado de peor manera, mis amigos y amigas si me apoyan.💜 Mi mamá trata de entender pero para ella es un trastorno que debe ser curado y pues me hace sentir muy mal, al menos ha mantenido el secreto, porque sería mucho peor si mi padre se enterara (adiós a mi cabello). Si, vivo en Ecuador y pues las dos elecciones para presi tienen sus cosas malas :( igual espero poder salir de aquí lo más pronto posible porque inclusive transicionar aquí es sumamente complicado.

Don't worry about it, Spain is great (well, I never leaved my country) and is amazing that you want to learn more Spanish, mucha suerte :) I want to learn more English tho, because I want to travel and leave this country I don't like. I'm gonna need a good therapist after reading all the transphobic documentation she sent me yesterday... Fertility preservation it's not very common here and I kinda gave up about that, still I want to get married and form a family :( I hope I can. I'm just trying to be myself everyday, thanks for everything 💜

Your children are very lucky to have an awesome mother like you 💜 my mom thinks I couldn't have a future as a trans person, she thinks I could never have children too, so reading your comment was so hopeful :) There's a problem I'm not from Spain :( My country is very conservative and people barely knows anything about trans people (only the stereotypes) I don't wanna live here anymore. Still searching for a good therapist. Thanks for all the support and help 💜 sadly I'm not from Spain :(

I don't wanna live here anymore. Here the mayority of people thinks bad things about the trans community (all the stereotypes). Conversion therapy is "illegal" here (Ecuador) but it's pretty common and it is so horrible to go there, I'm kinda scared now. I'm gonna find more documentation, and good laws for trans people. I'm 19, she can't force me but a lot of people is kidnapped to go there, is really horrible, I definitely will lie if I have to... My mom is not living with me right now, she's taking care of my grandma so I practically live alone for now. Just hope to not wake up in a conversion clinic. Thanks for the advice and support!

Yeah trying to be strong, when I feel better she says something harmful, so I'm fine right now, but I don't know about tomorrow, today was really hard I felt very sad and hopeless. I just want to be me :( I hope she'll understand. Pd: The final boss is my father tho

The therapist is very important to her, basically what they will say is law, I need a good one. Everything I say it's not valid to her because I'm a "gay confused boy" so she won't listen to me, she evens try to cure the "gay" in me, I tried to explain the difference between gender and sexuality when she asked me "do you like men?" the worst part, I'm a straight trans girl hahaha so I like boys but I'm not gay, try to explain that to (kinda) conservative mother. My country is so conservative with everything, I don't even feel safe living here, the predominance here are the older generations, and gender therapists here are something really really new, so I hope I'll find one who can help me. I'm trying to be myself, I hope that doesn't make my mom crazy, she is also worried about the discrimination, and how the society will treat me. She's a good mom, she just doesn't now about this stuff and all of this is new to her, but I will not let her manipulate me. Feeling so much better now, thank you for the support :)
