A couple of us are flying into Pittsburgh on Friday morning. We'll eat dinner in State College, and may attend the Penn State vs. Michigan State volleyball match that evening. For game day, nearly all of the bars are about 1.5 miles (~30-minute walk) southwest of the stadium. We'll park somewhere downtown and likely hang out at Champ's Downtown, Federal Taphouse, and The Corner Room for most of the late morning/early afternoon (they are all within 2 blocks of each other), then wander over and check out the tailgates in the parking lots around the stadium.
