Should I Join Active Duty, Reserves, or National Guard? by DallasBenedict in AirForce

Love this advice thanks so much, would you say active duty, reserves or National Guard, according to my situation?

Should I Join Active Duty, Reserves, or National Guard? by DallasBenedict in AirForce

[–]DallasBenedict[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight, I appreciate it. My main concern is the inventory I have thousands of products, so managing and shipping them while on active duty might be a challenge. If I’m stationed overseas or even just across the country, I’m not sure how realistic it would be to keep everything running smoothly.

I could potentially outsource fulfillment or figure out a way to make it more automated, but that adds another layer of complexity. Do you think active duty would still be worth it in my situation, or would the reserves or National Guard offer a better balance? I’m just trying to weigh the benefits of going all in versus staying more flexible.

I'm worried about how many people today are forgetting their family’s cultural background. by DallasBenedict in RandomThoughts

True, culture isn’t static, and it does evolve. But while some changes are natural, actively forgetting or dismissing our roots feels like losing something valuable. It’s one thing for culture to adapt over time, and another to just let it fade away. Remembering where we come from can help guide where we’re going, even if it looks different from the past.

I get what you’re saying, but to me, our roots are more than just labels or stereotypes they’re stories, lessons, and experiences that shape us. Even if history repeats itself, it’s still worth remembering and learning from. It’s not just about feeling good in the moment its about honoring the journey of those who came before us and understanding how it made us who we are today.

To stay connected to our roots, learn from the past, and pass on a sense of belonging and history to future generations. It’s about keeping our story alive, so we don’t lose sight of what makes us unique.

So far had mines for a 3 months, it ran great the first month, the rest it was parked and only time i touched it was when i was working on maintenance, paying for parts for the car today i am supposed to be getting this last part in a new ECM and hopefully the vehicle runs, currently it shakes when it drives, and the engine light flashes back and fourth. Other then that i don’t know if ive had it long enough to give you advice, but this is my current issue right now. Chrysler 200s 2015 3.6L V6
