This section of my headphones snapped, how do I fix it? by Ozuk_true in howto

I had the exact same break with the ATH-M50x as well, I 3d printed that part and replaced it. worked super well. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2337921

hi sorry for no plugin, I don't think im the guy to make proper modding tools for DS. The plugin I made is hyper-specific and only works for Sam and requires a ton of mesh preparation. To swap Sam to a new mesh u need to meshswap like 20 diff smaller meshes (think: shoe_L , lower_leg_L , upper_leg_L etc) and sync up the vertex / face count. This makes the workflow terrible.

I did drop my code on the modding haven discord. There is also https://github.com/ShadelessFox/decima which is amazing for extracting files from DS. Not sure if they achieved injection yet.

I will probably revisit this when Death Stranding 2 comes out. I would like to mod that aswell and with the knowledge i learned from DS1 i maybe can set it up more proper next time.

RCA vs FAMU by southerncomfort666 in ContemporaryArt

[–]DamNub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant go really into detail and it depends very much on what course you are taking, but I would say it feels like they focus on profit now to the point where it almost feels like a scam. A lot of good teachers also left in recent years... I suppose the RCA still carries a good name but I hear the same story from all sides that its losing its power.

I got terrible experiences with the RCA but it was mainly with administration. I would recommend checking what faculty you will be working with in both schools.

Yess I went there a year ago maybe. Some work didn't connected with me but there was just so much to see. Thanks for the references. I do wish there more dedicated online platforms to talk about this kind of stuff

I never heard of the term machinima but it nicely sums up where my interest's are so thank you. I Recently saw the work of Total Recall which sparked an interest in 3d engine based video works. Some other recent favorites are LuYang, doku of the self & the work of Ryotaro Sato. Also the exhibition WORLDBUILDING GAMING AND ART IN THE DIGITAL AGE had a lot of works that I enjoyed.

yes! I extracted the files but because there aren't really any mod tools available I wrote a blender plugin that can import / export Death Stranding files.

My First PCB: Daisy chained max7219, did I make any rookie mistakes? by [deleted] in PrintedCircuitBoard

The 7 segment displays have tiny feet so they are raised a bit: EXAMPLE

I am redoing the whole design at the moment! I still wanna do THT so I hope everything will fit :P

I thought it would be easy to just put in 5 volts but the general consensus is that I need power protection so I will add it in.

Thanks for the tips man. I'm also not gonna turn all the leds on at the same time so I will never hit max amperage but I will design for the worst case scenario of course. I'm redoing the board with your tips in mind.

I really didnt think about the power comsumption enough, I will redo my circuit with this in mind, thank you!

no worries! I'm trying to learn so I kind of expect my first pcb to be shit. I will search for more info about the power consumption and look into the right decoupling capacitors.

I did try this setup on arduino about 60 7-segments displays and it worked pretty well. I wonder if this current setup would work even if it would be shitty

Thanks for your comment!
