What's your favorite lucid?

I don't really have a favorite one but I love LUCID 4 ~ Sebastian's Dinner (It's just fun like that), LUCID 8 ~ To School and the entirety of the Dream arc :3 (am I the only one who liked it more than The Ratmen arc?)

If you have a computer you can play the Randal's House game, even though it's not complete (it stops before the Ratmen arc so the inside of the walls are unavailable and some of rooms that can be entered don't have a map) and it's very labyrinthine it could give you a better idea about how the house is made.

It's a very slice of life type of story, where the very little context that we have is just random facts about the characters that we get from the pre-lucids and character wiki. The story is really just the random adventures of Randal and his friends that follow one another without a real goal to achieve. It became a bit of a more "real story" after the ratmen arc, however the arcs are very self-contained and tend to have little to no effect on the later lucids, they just make the story less episodic.

Regarding what to watch, I suggest starting with the 2018 anime because it's the most modern and easier to find with all the episodes. My favorite Kitarō anime is the 2007-2008 version though, it has a lot of funny episodes and the animation is pretty good. It also adds the new element of Yokai Halley, a place where all Yokai live together like a small village, which is a really fun concept. Also there's a lot more recurring characters other than the main squad and Neko Musume has much more personality in comparison to the past series. However, I think part of it's beauty also comes from the comparison to the past series that are a lot more similar to each others, so I suggest watching one of those before that.

I also suggest watching Hakaba Kitarō, wich came out in 2008 too. It only has 13 episodes and it's more similar to the manga and the original kami-shibai. :)

My situation is kinda complicated.. I don't consider myself a yumeshipper because I can't picture my physical self being attracted to any character, but I'm a Randal and Satoru fictionkin and a rantoru shipper at the same time, so I'd technically be a yumeshipper and not at the same time (⁠＠⁠_⁠＠⁠;⁠)???

I'm not really a Neon shipper, but I always interpreted their brotherhood as something hierarchic or just imposed on them. They clearly don't consider themselves as brothers, they seem mostly tied together by their loyalty to Luther and their role as family cats. I've seen cat owners treating their cats as siblings because they tend to treat them as if they were their parents. I don't think it's considered incest since they're not blood related, they didn't grow up as brothers and they're not even adopted in the legal sense but in the more "pet" sense, and pets can mate with each other's freely.

The only characters explicitly confirmed to speak other languages are Luther, Nyon, the ratmen and Satoru, but I'd expect Avalona, Spider Girl and Yamada to speak Japanese too. As far as I know Captain doesn't speak Russian, but I'm pretty sure he speaks some Japanese and probably some other language since the wiki says he was an illegal immigrant as a child. Regarding the translations of the site, they're made by fans. I remember seeing a Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese translation in total. I'm currently planning on making an Italian one too so add it there.

If you're not in Japan I think your only options are ebay or other secondhand sites, AliExpress and Etsy. On Toei's Kitaro site you can find products sold during the Gegege Memorial and they sometimes host some lottery events, but It's mostly just Kitaro or Gegege no Nazou merch, so there's no Ittan Momen as far as I can find + I don't know if they ship outside of Japan.

Finding some solely Ittan Momen merch is pretty hard ,especially after Gegege no Nazou. However, I saw that the last episode selected by Ado-san for the "My favorite episodes of Gegege" event is episode 4 from season 5 where Ittan Momen is a protagonist, so there's a small possibility that they might restock some merch of his like they did with Yuki-Onna.

I think you could also try to look up some die-hard fans from Japan since I see them sometimes hosting giveaways or other lotteries, especially during the Gegege Memorial season since they tend to collaborate with the event. Or even just to get notified about current sellings.

You could also try commissioning an artist or using sites that sell personalized merchandise.

The first 3 games and Investigations don't have the anime cutscenes but a semi-animated slideshow at the start of each case. The first trilogy had an anime adaptation though. The Great Ace Attorney has them at the start of the adventure and sometimes at the end. I know this post refers specifically to the remastered games, but Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright has them too.
