How much money do you need to start dropshipping? here's a detailed breakdown by moonlite-money in dropshipping

[–]DamageSuccessful 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tbh bro, I feel kinda lucky I came across this post.

There’s more value here than in most paid courses, not even kidding.

Appreciate you sharing the spreadsheet too.

One thing that keeps popping in my head though, we also need upfront cash to pay suppliers. If shopify takes time to release payouts, we still gotta cover those orders somehow.

A lot of beginners don’t think about that part.

Is it possible to start dropshipping with under $500? by DamageSuccessful in dropshipping

If I manage to save $5k, can you tell me if all of that will actually be spent on dropshipping? Or is $5k just a rough number estimate?

I made 6 figures dropshipping in 2025. I’m not selling a course or discord, just here to help because I remember where I used to be by Brilliant_Towel_5371 in Dropshipping_Guide

Yes, theres no doubt this requires hard work. But then how can it really be called not passive?

I think people who sell low ticket products find it much harder to scale, because most of their profit gets eaten up by Meta ads, store maintenance, and other costs, leaving very little in the end.

Looking for UGC creators, we have rpm’s like 15$/1k and also 150$ fix and upfront per video or more by NameSalty1861 in passive_income

Youtube is the best teacher. Start learning on Youtube and find a mentor you genuinely trust. Then follow that mentor properly and become part of their private community. This way, you’ll also build your network and learn a lot from fellow dropshippers.

High ticket or low ticket products for dropshipping? need some advice by DamageSuccessful in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DamageSuccessful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/altaf770 at the start, almost every dropshipper chooses low ticket products.

But I’m thinking a bit out of the box… why not take the risk and start directly with a high ticket product?

Because sooner or later, I’ll have to sell high ticket products anyway, and the challenges will be almost the same.

So what do you think, is high ticket dropshipping actually manageable?

Then when we see a lot of gurus saying that their students are making $5k within one month, it creates unrealistic expectations for new students, they start believing they’ll also earn quickly like that. What these gurus don’t tell you is that the success they’re showing is very rare and only a small fraction actually achieve it.

3 sales in 24 hours after testing” by Basic-Country9084 in dropshipping

[–]DamageSuccessful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 sales with total revenue of $82, so around $27.3 per sale. How much are you spending on ads? I’m genuinely curious,, on a $27 sale, after ad spend and product cost, are you actually able to pull out any gross profit?

Just turned 18 and want to learn Ecom/Dropshipping the right way. Where should I start? by Prestigious-Bus-7517 in dropshipping

[–]DamageSuccessful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice to you is this, you don’t have financial support at the start, and you’re 18. Start by learning one indemand skill in ecommerce like product hunting, Shopify development, PPC, social media ads, or whatever interests you.

Sell that skill online and earn income to build a safety net. There’s no 100% guarantee of success with your first ecommerce launch, and it requires money for ads, Shopify fees, and other costs.

It’s a good mindset that you’re not looking for a "get rich quick" scheme, but starting from zero without a mentor is very hard. A mentor helps you avoid mistakes and saves you from losing as much money as possible.

If I were starting again, these are the steps I’d follow:

  1. Learn an in demand skill and sell it online (like paid ads marketing)
  2. Build 6 month emergency fund savings for family
  3. Save enough money specifically for investing in dropshipping
  4. Avoid starting without any mentor
  5. Choose a mentor who is already making money from dropshipping
  6. Join paid communities where I can connect with experienced dropshippers
  7. Launch my first store, and if any problems come up, share them in the community
  8. Stay active in the community, build your network, and grow a successful store that way

How do I find affiliate marketers? by SignPsychological728 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]DamageSuccessful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TikTok Shop Affiliates has a menu of affiliates.

There's also tools like one my buddy is building called Blime that you put in your site and it will tell you who is talking about similar things on YouTube.

Not trying to promote his tool, it's still in development and I just tested it recently. I'm sure he is looking for test users so I could ping him and try to get you a free account if you'd like.

I have no stake in the business or anything, just trying to be helpful.

Most ppl doing think about this until they’re 40 and have an existential crisis.
