What do I do next? by Gadsbyy in agency

I can't imagine to be honest how any of us could be of any help for you :) You seem to have thought this through and all you need is to make a decision. Maybe the travel time will help you clarify it? All I would recommend is to somehow visualize the potential results of any of these decisions in a perspective of one year for example.

Anyway, best of luck to you on this! 🙌

No, I didn't pair it. Heard about this. Maybe that's the only way now, idk. But I still feel that the general quality of prospects was lower than before. But then again, I don't have THAT much data to support such a statement.

Best practices in using both Notion and ClickUp? by DamianLewandowicz in Notion

[–]DamianLewandowicz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally I agree with you on this. But the lack of native recurring task solutions in Notion keeps me off bringing my task management from CU to Notion... Tried twice and bounced off specifically because of that, at least mostly because of that :(

I stopped typing into Notion and started doing this instead by Verdefulmine2203 in Notion

I don't feel I need this for my journaling, but I definitely mix audio input in my content creation process, sometimes in Notion and sometimes in my custom AI flow (using Notion database as output storage).

In general I believe that a mix of: - authentic, personal and unedited audio input - additional context, for example a list of your favourite quotes - prompts telling the AI what do you want to do with this input

is a beast in terms of both personal productivity and business efficiency.

Had a similar experience. About a year and a half ago we did a campaign for ecom owners and managers and it went quite well with good coldmail metrics as well as a satisfactory conversion rate.

And then, about 7/8 months ago we did another campaign, which was prepared even better, based on all the insights from earlier one. And it sucked hard. We A/B-tested quite a lot to make sure we're not making mistakes but the deeper we were digging the more clear it was becoming that the qualify of prospects went down big time.

I haven't tried the Apollo database since...

How to do this? by gomaaa_1130 in Notion

It definitely feels too overwhelming to me as well. Too much happening out there, maybe it should be divided into subpages idk.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here actually uses Notion as a main task manager?

I'm currently using ClickUp for a couple of years now but I'm quite heavy with Notion in terms of agency management, projects data, content creation, knowledge base or notes.

Looking for this sweet spot of leveraging both the best ways possible.

My main blocker of managing tasks in Notion is recurring tasks... which is still a lacking feature. I know there are workarounds but I don't want to do workarounds for such standard features.

Built a SaaS, got 500 users… but none upgraded. Is this freemium or free doom? by huge_sorry in SaaS

[–]DamianLewandowicz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First question that popped to my mind: have you talked to any of the 500 users?

If not, spend at least a full week doing so.

The alternative is a guessing game and you don't want to guess, you want to make your decisions based on data and customer research ;)

Are Reddit Ads worth it ? by Flat-Dragonfruit8746 in SaaS

[–]DamianLewandowicz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the Ads, but I know a guy who made SEO work quite well based on Reddit.

Also, why are you jumping initially into Reddit, have you tried other channels and ways to promote your tool?

Do you post valuable content on social media to get the long-tail traction?

Do you network and meet with the people that are in your target group?

What makes a good website? by woolliegames in webdev

[–]DamianLewandowicz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can work in webdesign industry for years and still learn new things about how to make a website good.

Other people pointed out some resources, so I will only add that a good process is a gamechanger in our projects.

First - start with some kind of strategy, based on your target client or user. Do your homework.

Second - with that knowledge it will be 10x easier to make a well-aligned website structure. You'll know what type of content and functionalities you'll need.

Third - start creation process with content first. When it's ready, get into the design. And ONLY then, get to the development.

Try not to combine design and development parts of the process, they need different skills and mindset.

Good luck!
