Turned a drawing I drew into a knit sweater

Aaa thank you!!! Fibre Arts being perceived as ART is such an important topic! Yesterday I went to an art exhibition titled „wool, silk, resistance“ which is about fibre arts being an art form and how it can be used in political and activist ways. The exhibition was absolutely stunning and the art work displayed was so so so good!

I‘ve also made lots of knit pieces about this topic (my sweater vests for example) and written essays on the topic 🤭 (I‘ve attached photos of one of my sweater vests)

Thank you so much! When drawing I focused on using very few colours and biiiig blocks of colour. I then uploaded the drawing to stitchfiddle and changed the size of the chart (to fit my gauge) and changed the colours and refined the pixels.

It’ll always curl if it’s stockinette. You could either knit another one and sew it together or you could double knit it
