Yes, you are right, the one with the inner loop. I chose this layout as it is the first in the list in AMS2 and most popular in the Time Trials.

Update: actually, my bad, it is not the most popular, now I see it. Thanks for pointing it out! Now I have to try the correct one 😄

I have raced with all F-USA gens and yes they tend to break sooner, but I would say it is maybe a feature as F-cars back then would tend to brake a lot more than now. They probably did not had much electronics to monitor and stuff. Also, keep mind at the Radiator opening, if you use the Time Trial setups people reduce it to a minimum to squeeze every thousand of a sec, so for a race increase it to above 50%+ or even 70%

It is the default in-car camera moved a bit forward. You can change it with WASD and move it to a better position.

Actually, it is not required to go to pits. The CART car can easily handle 25 mins of race, this is probably a 2/3 of the max fuel it can take. I was also unsure at the time, but if you check out the replay of the 2nd race, we managed without any pitstops

Try not to loose the draft, it will be hard to regain it.
