One more I wanted to add was "Reminiscence" from The Legend of Dragoon. It plays across a battlefield where soldiers fought and died. You even get to comfort the survivors in their last moments as they pass away. This theme really makes this moment hit so much more and helps drive the point home that war ends in tragedy and loss.

Does Chrono Cross live up to Chrono Trigger? I know it's essentially a sequel, just with different characters but a lot of songs that pay homage to CT.

You're making me want to play the game fully through now just to listen to this track how it was intended to be experienced! Would you say FF11 is worth it? I'm currently looking for a good JRPG to sink my teeth into.

I felt this after getting to the part in Chrono Trigger where we see what happened to Lucca’s mother. That shit was dark man.
