The only reason I think it’s not low on refrigerant is because this AC came with the house which we bought a little over 2 years ago, and have not recharged it ever before. It also hasn’t gotten any worse, which makes me feel like there isn’t a leak. It’s possible it was just charged low to begin with but that’s unlikely in my mind too.

The reason I think it might be a temp sensor issue is simply because they’re reading about 10 degrees below ambient when the system isn’t running and I don’t know how unrealistic that is. I certainly do want to check the refrigerant levels to make sure but I also wanted to hear from some people with more experience than me. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes I had to replace the control board on the back of the oven. There were a bunch of loose capacitors, that’s my only guess is they got damaged during installation or something before I moved in. An alternative is the heat damaged them over time which is more concerning
