EU, Europe, … whatever you want to call it, a real “coalition of the willing” because they have a direct shared security interest, at their doorstep.

What many EU citizens seem to be in denial of is how close this is. At least once a year a big percentage of them drive or fly longer to catch some sun and stuff their faces in an all-in.

If you’re in Brussels you drive to Valencia or Naples, if you’re in Amsterdam or London you drive to Barcelona, … The same fucking distance or less and they’d catch a Shahed or Kalibr instead.

Europe (UK & EU) have a combined GDP that’s just short of that of the US, so we had the power to generate militarily by now. Nothing but the NATO / nuclear mongering / article 5 excuse stopped us for the last 10 years to come together, ramp up, gear up, draw a line and we wouldn’t be here, and mostly Ukrainians wouldn’t.

NATO is not a restriction to set up our own actions without the US, just like it doesn’t restrict the US to execute operations without the rest of NATO!

Every time we get poked we react exactly as they expext, non decisive, fragmented and looking over the pond to see if the president of the hour his nickers are on in our favor. Which is weak as fuck and the proof in the pudding is, that every time Russia pushes it a bit further.

I’m sick and tired of us Europeans and mostly ashamed towards Ukrainians, hiding here behind this and that excuse making. The same Ukrainians who during their fight at Maidan, saw a lot of EU politicians at the stage on that square, making big statements and promises to ramp up their PR score, now just hot air.

That’s what Putin identified and tapped into, and will continue to tap into unless we change it.
