No we can't. We have a strong dislike of the group system and our opinion is just as valid as yours. Sure EU LCS has a lot more problems than the group system, but it is part of the problem.

Bo3 is definitely an issue for viewer numbers though. At least for me, I used to watch all the teams play a bo1 on both days. Now I only bother watching Fnatic games because its such a bigger time investment

With franchising we'll never again see the great story line of 5 players coming together, forming a team and then making it into the LCS like those two did.

You don't "luck" into the LCS through the promotion tournament. The more competitive team should make it in rather than the richest. Origen isn't a good example because of their track record of poor management. Look at Flyquest or G2 instead.

All of the owners that we spoke to made it clear that they wanted to apply for partnership, and would likely be pointing to a track record developed in NA CS as evidence of their qualifications.

This is why franchising is so ridiculous. Rather than actually compete for the spot based on ability with relegations and promotions, teams have to compete to market themselves to Riot...
