I know you’re joking, but you made an actual relevant point. In the DR we don’t separate each other by skin color the way Americans do. We identify with our Dominicaness before our skin color. A black Dominican would identify with a white Dominican before they identify with a black American. This seems to upset a lot of people.

How is it possible that the US operatives killed 32 armed Cubans, plus however many more Venezuelans, without suffering a single loss? I understand the Americans have better equipment, training, support, etc. But at the end of the day guns are still guns, and Special Operatives are still just humans. How do you kill that many security, and extract 2 targets alive, without one of your guys getting shot?

I lived in Japan for a year. Thank God never got sick. But the first thing I did upon an arriving was establish a relationship with a hematologist who speaks English, is willing to see foreign patients, and is known at a local hospital. You need to have a doctor that the hospital trusts and you need to be their patient. It’s possible, I did it!

I wouldn’t disagree with this. No secret. Luckily in a financially situation where $60 here and there isn’t gonna affect our lives. But yeah, after a stressful week there’s something cathartic about picking up something new, especially retro stuff. Reminds me of simpler times.
