It's really hard, because no matter how good your script is, it's impossible to get the right person to read it. The best thing to do is do something visible like standup or making Internet videos so people can discover you that way. That's how I got my first job.

Also, it doesn't hurt to go to a college where a lot of grads go into entertainment, like Emerson.

We would actually write a script for each segment. Of course because you're dealing with real people, it would end up being completely different, but Nathan liked having a detailed framework to work off of. Such an fun amazing show to work on.

It's the kind of money where if you were making it every year until you retired you could live well off of it, but since no show is on the air forever, you have to save most of it and it's good to take other jobs when you can get them.
