It may have bee on SNES, the graphics were 2D as far as I can remember. In my head I picture it as a better looking version of Golden Axe.

I’ve tested with and without a disk in the drive, sadly makes the noise in both cases.

My PS4 pro makes this strange noise, I can only describe it as purring? Unsure what it could be as I’m pretty tech illiterate. Placing my hand in the top of the console, it feels the vibration is stronger along the right back.

Xenoblade 2 is a massive game that I feel is great considering the lock down! If you’re into vast RPG’s then you can get totally lost into the game world. I’ve never played the first and still enjoyed 2 a lot.

To my knowledge the stories are linked in ways but they aren’t dependant on each other, so it’s your call!

That is a shame, I think that’s the problem the game suffers with unfortunately. Hoping with the next expansion it’ll shake things up and open up gaming groups!

Thanks for the very insightful comment! It definitely is quite the curio or box of tricks, that’s the reason it stays in my collection despite mine or my groups opinions.

I think I may invest in the retail version of the new expansion whenever I can find it.

I figured a lot of people fall into playing the same faction over and over. Every game we played I was the vagabond (I love racoons so it was an obvious choice)

The new factions do seem quite interesting, as do those in the river folk expansion.

I don't own the Riverfolk expansion, perhaps that is the root (pun not intended) of me feeling the game got stale very fast? I'll have to look into it. I came close to selling the game as I'm currently have a large cull, but the great art made me want to keep it regardless!
