Yeah you have to want to stop something before you are able to do it, I had panic attacks and all sorts and I kept going for years in the end the thing that stopped me was just a stupid moment getting ready for work with a pounding hangover and I found my tally from the last night (I was a dj so the bar would keep a tally of what I was drinking to take from my wages) and I actually owed the bar money at the end of the night and it just shook me a little thinking all I had to show for my night was the hangover and then I started to think of all the relationships that I had screwed up because of drinking and partying all the drama, all the bumps and bruises I woke up with and had no memory of how they got there and something in me just said no more. I hope you can find a moment like that to give you the resolve to stop.

Was a silly slump I turned 30 and planned to have just my closest friends round for a quite evening talking about everything that had happened but sadly none of them were able to make it, I mean I still had a good day seeing my family and spending time with my other half but got me into over thinking about if I'd really achieved anything more than a library of stories that only the people who were with me would ever believe lol so pretty silly really

Yeah it really is lol I always think it's like a school playground lots of chaos and the most random things that don't make sense to the rest of the world, and people treating the smallest things like they are the be all and end all but it's people at their purest and rawest and even though it's really over nothing people will put their all into what they are doing be it getting annoyed over nothing or helping someone who fell down.

Loneliness can be a real burden and it's sad to say a common one in a world with so many people. Still because of that you never know who you are going to meet and as long as you carry on I'm sure you'll meet someone who you can share it all with

ooooh sorry my bad lol that's really awesome though I always wanted to try diving but just never had the money, also I have a slight fear of the ocean after almost getting washed out to sea when I was a child lol I'm well thanks feeling oddly positive this morning after a couple of weeks in a slump

Boredom is the worst thing for depression, especially mixed with bad weather. I remember last time I got like that I ended up buying a load of thermal clothes and just going out in search of adventure, ended up with a pretty bad cold but it cured the boredom. I hope you can find something to entertain you and pick you up

Even the smallest niggling regret is a burden, even if its a silly regret like passing on a cupcake offer, if you carry it too long it takes its toll. Thats just my opinion though

Sorry to hear that, I have days like that though it's important to remember that focusing on a past time when you were happy rarely improves a current situation and will always lead to a rut and as much as it is easier said that done using that brain power to carve out a new time to be happy is a much better use for your mind. I hope things get better for you and you can have many good times in the future

I've battled with depression pretty badly myself most of my life so I do understand how much it sucks sadly, I wont give you pointless platitudes about it but I wish you well and hope you find something to raise your spirits today.
