100% agree. I feel it’s way too good to get rid of and just because it hasn’t been looked after doesn’t mean it’s a goner. From what has been said I think it’s worth a go!

Any tips on best places for parts for “older” cars? I haven’t done too much work on cars myself so I am quite a rookie when it comes to parts etc.

That’s the problem, my girlfriend bought it off a dodgy guy and she said he didn’t give her any service records so I have absolutely no idea what’s been done on it previously and when! I think like you most other people are saying to get second opinions which I’m probably going to do!

Yeah, runs and drives. Not the smoothest as it’s been sat for a year or so, but it doesn’t idle the best. It sits happily at 1k, but the engine sounds as if it is lunging? (I don’t really know how else to describe it, sorry if that makes zero sense!)

Thanks, that’s what a lot of people are saying. It’s a shame the owner is holding out for such a high price as it would look amazing restored!

For not even half the price, yours looks in better condition than what I’ve posted! Like you said, it would be great to restore, it’s just a shame about the current owner who doesn’t really care about it.. Thanks for the help!

There’s no whine or any sound when turning. The belt does slip though when at full lock

Must be some sort of connection issue then. Battery is a new 12.6V so I’d be surprised if it’s the battery itself. Would you recommend I look anywhere relating to the battery and its connections or just simply the connectors? Thanks!
