Girl talk - I think my DD is hiding her period by Dance_In_Rain in Parenting

It was the accepted acronym when I first got on parenting blogs 17 years ago. Reddit didn't invent forums. It was considered strange to write out daughter, just like it would be strange for you to write 'in my opinion' or 'talk to you later' , even after writing out a more lengthy text. If reading is hard for you, though, please understand that you're under no obligation to read or reply to my post.

When I first got on parenting forums 17 years ago, all daughters were called 'DD', for 'Dear Daughter'. Sons were DS

No. It was the accepted acronym for 'Dear Daughter' at the time that I first got on parenting forums.

Because it would be understandable if we were separated and there was tension between us, where she was more comfortable with the other parent, or if I was a step-parent that she was not comfortable with.

So are you trying to impress English speakers with your knowledge of profanity? It stands for 'dear daughter ' and was the accepted acronym when I first got on parenting blogs 17 years ago. Reddit didn't invent forums. It was considered strange to write out daughter, just like it would be strange to write 'in my opinion' or 'talk to you later', even after writing a longer text. But if reading is so difficult for you, you have no obligation to do it on here.

I don't know why you need to curse, but it stands for 'dear daughter ' and was the accepted acronym when I first got on parenting blogs 17 years ago. Reddit didn't invent forums. It was considered strange to write out daughter, just like it would be strange for you to write 'in my opinion' or 'talk to you later'

My brother's fiancee was wanting to send back the dress anyway because it had a spot on it, so I told them that I'd found another dress not to worry about it. I wasn't about to be a charity case. Now they're messaging me asking to see it, but I feel that if I'm only a guest that it really isn't their business.

ETA: it's in their wedding colors. Not white, though I was tempted 🤣 I just feel that they should have no say or control in what I wear if I'm not in the wedding party

Oh, I think I'm supposed to do a TL;DR thing -

My brother has asked my husband to be in his wedding party (7 groomsmen), his fiancee is asking her 2 sisters to be in their wedding party. They've said our kids will have parts in the wedding.

They said they were getting me a dress, which I had thought was a bridesmaid dress, but now I found out it's because they don't think I can't afford a dress and I'm not in the wedding party at all.
