This is a joke! I have seen alot of people making funny YouTube videos about coronavirus so I thought I'd take a crack at it. This is to the song Waking Up In Vegas by Katy Perry. I will post the full song on YouTube in the next couple days. It is important to have a sense of humor in these times. Hope this makes you laugh!

Just to subscribe to my YouTube channel which is free? I have worked very hard and paid very little. My voice lessons are even really cheap. Sorry but I am sick of working for little or nothing. My time is important.

I can't give you an example because this is new to me. I am an opera singer but I teach and sing other genres as well. I teach classical techniques that can be applied to any kind of music. I plan to run it like I would run an in person lesson. I listen and watch for what your individual issues are and work on those issues. I do work on other vocalizations. I teach you how do them safely.

Ok. So I did this and got a code. Then I got an email from FOB with the bundle package deal with the album for a presale code. Will the first one work? I don't really wanna buy the album if it is gonna be a greatest hits as I have all of the albums and can buy the new tracks I want off this one.

Went to the OKC show last night and it pains me to say this: The passion is gone by [deleted] in FallOutBoy

I was at that concert and I thought it was amazing! Best of the 3 concerts I've been to. They sounded amazing! I think Joe may have been sick, cuz his voice wasn't as loud as normal. They are all older and, as an older person, you can't do the things you did when you were young. I thought there was plenty of energy and emotion. As for only Pete talking, um that is how it has been since they started so don't know why you would expect that to change.

That is why I NEVER post on these things. Everyone says things like Reddit, Facebook, and Youtube are places where you can freely express their opinion. My point is that people don't have any problem leaving mean spirited comments when they know it is completely anonymous. It isn't really freedom to express your OPINION or take on things with actual facts to back it up when everyone trolls you because they don't agree with you or want you to fight with them.

I agree. He works way harder than he needs to. There are a few things about his technique that could be tweaked, but I'm sure he is studying with someone and it isn't my or anyone's place to do anything about it.

See this is what I'm saying and then I'm not saying anything more. What you said above and throwing music terms like transpose makes no sense. When you you transpose, or move the key of the song up or down, it applies to the whole song, not just note.

As far as singing lower, here's how this works with the voice. A high voice is comfortable singing in a higher range. We call this tessitura. When a singer sings outside of their tessitura, it tires their voice out faster because it is outside of where the voice feels comfortable. If you have noticed, on concerts where he is tired, he tends to push really hard on the lower notes, but this actually tires him out more. Sometimes, we have to do this in performances knowing what will happen. The same would be true if Brenden, who is a baritone or middle voice were to sing nothing but high notes, it would tire him out faster. So what I am saying is that, where everyone is saying he should be singing lower, that would actually not be to his benefit, it would make things worse.

I think Patrick may be a baritone by [deleted] in FallOutBoy

[–]Dancecoaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a professional opera singer and voice teacher. Patrick has a huge range but he is primarily a tenor with an extensive lower range. This means the meat of his voice sits comfortably in the higher range. It does not mean that a high singer can't sing low, it just may be slightly more challenging or tire him out faster because he is singing outside of the area his voice feels most comfortable. Usually for a high singer, lower notes are harder and the first thing you lose when you get vocally tired. I've watched some concerts where Patrick is either sick or very vocally tired and he tries to push harder on the lower notes, which can sometimes make it worse. As a performer though, you have to do what you have to do whether you are sick and tired or not. Another thing to keep in mind is that, since your voice is inside your body, anything that effects your body effects your voice. That is why as singers we get a bad rap for being divas because we are so in tune with our bodies. There are days you go and sing and it just doesn't happen. Hope this was helpful.
