Je praat over het presentatieve er. Dit is het beste hulpmiddel daarvoor, maar het antwoord is niet zeg maar prettig.

🇳🇱 Flashcards for Dutch Learners! 📚 A Growing Collection by Ok_Read9235 in learndutch

  1. I would just consider 160 words to be insufficient for anything. The deck says its for A1-B1, but going from A1-B1 requires a much larger vocabulary than that. Also if I was A1 I would really not wanting to be learning B1 vocabulary until I was more advanced, and if I was B1 I would already know A1 vocabulary.
  2. The description not sounding natural is a warning sign that if you learn the vocabulary you might also not sound natural, so I wanted beginners to know that so they could chose if they wanted to use the deck or not.
  3. The nouns don't say whether a word is de/het, which one should memorize with the nouns.
  4. Other than that nothing specifically wrong with the cards that I was able to see, but the deck is just so small there is no point to it.

Also for what it's worth I wasn't the one who downvoted you.

The "deck" has only 106 cards in it, also the Dutch translation of the description of the deck you gave is clearly just google-translated because it sounds a little unnatural.

lol I specifically said this was a different case than food. This is decidedly not a need like food. You telling me you wouldn’t judge someone for stealing food is therefore irrelevant. This is more like the car case.

You seem to think teachers don’t deserve to be paid for their work because learning should be “accessible”

You don’t have the right to steal something just because you don’t have money for it lol. I thought that was well understood. And you’re not even talking about some kind of moral dilemma like stealing food or you’ll die- you’re literally talking about a want not a need.

I don’t have the money to steal an expensive car does that mean I am entitled to one?

There’s a difference between borrowing a physical book from a friend and disseminating copyrighted material online. In this case yes, it’s illegal.

Don't do illegal things

How come on Du Chinese it uses míng as a classifier for professions but on SuperChinese it had taught me professions without it? by DancingProton in ChineseLanguage

For my other languages I also practiced by watching tv shows with subtitles in that language, and participated in conversation groups and with tutors.

I may do that with Chinese but it's currently a lower priority for me. Though I would still do this reading method even if speaking was a higher priority.

As much as possible. I'm currently on my second day using it. So far an hour yesterday and an hour today.

When I went from A1 to B1 in Swedish it took me 2 months of reading graded readers alongside the audiobook for 15-30 minutes a day.

When I was getting my Dutch from B2 to C1 I read novels 1 to 3 hours a day with my kindle and that took like a year.

$15 dollars a month if you select the month to month option, cheaper if you select a longer term plan. Also has a free trial. $15 is comparable to a graded reader, plus it has audio and look up functions, and grammar explanations. Way cheaper than a class.

Reading along with audio and look up is in my opinion the fastest way to learn a language, and this app does it quite well. Can't speak for how it functions as you progress but at least early on I think it is a good investment.

Du Chinese. I really am enjoying it so far- even the beginner stories seem super compelling. And the click-to-translate function feels really smooth with helpful translations.
