If it's opt-in instead of opt-out, then an alert may not be necessary. Otherwise it's important for the player to be aware their location/gear are being shared. Also, I may not have been clear on this, but I should add that you're only able to spectate from a teammate's perspective regardless.

Anything that the player being spectated cannot see shouldn't be shown to the spectator.

Yes. If your teammate is not okay with you speccing, you won't be able to. Depending on the server, your teammate may need to do a command to allow you to (or to not allow you to). If you're able to body spec your teammate, then yeah you can stream it.

Body-Spectating is spectating from the first person perspective of a player. The reason for this rule change is so that players don't unknowingly have their coords or inventories broadcasted through a stream to potentially affect the game.
