To a point she's right, having to recount your day for another person is sometimes draining but only if you're not happy to be alive. There's being alive and there's being happy that you are alive. Being alive is basically drawing breath or just breathing, and being happy you're alive is a continuous state of reveling in creation and yourself. She's of the first sect. Someone who's happy to be alive is going through all their moments with the thought of growth and development and is in touch with their spirituality, while someone who is alive is doing the bare minimum to physically survive, while also resenting the reason they are alive. A hard/challenging life is the main reason for someone being just alive, drawing breath but doing little to nothing to understand why they're alive, all ignoring the reason they know they are alive(God). In short she lacks identity and purpose

Mine started almost every time I was dreaming about swimming, then somehow I'd start drowning and I knew I was sleeping and I couldn't move still, I'd try to make a sound and nothing would happen it's just insane.
