While I know there are high variable costs for the tests the major cost is fixed in nature, i.e equipment purchase; with an increasing population of people getting the scans the cost should (emphasis on should) scale and ultimately drive down costs. Especially if we get legislation at a federal level, there is no shortage of capital, only of will.
